By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on April 14, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 18, 2008 ("Sweepstakes Period"). The Sweepstakes Period will be divided into weekly periods, each beginning at 12:01 am ET on Monday, April 14 and ending at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 18 (each a "Weekly Period"). There are two (2) ways to enter: 1) Visit www.electroluxappliances.com and follow the directions provided to register to play Kelly's Bags. Once you register and play by selecting a bag for that day's event, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the drawing for that Weekly Period. Thereafter, each day you login and play the game by selecting a bag for that day's event, you will automatically receive one additional (1) entry into the drawing for that Weekly Period. You must comply with the game play instructions available here. Limit one (1) game play per person and per email address per day. Earning or losing points as part of any game play will not affect the number of entries you receive or your chances of winning. Or, 2) To enter without registering or playing the game, hand-print your complete name, address, telephone number (including area code) and date of birth on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail it in a #10 envelope with proper postage affixed to: Kelly's Bags Sweepstakes, c/o Trymark Consulting Group, PO Box 296, Gainesville, VA, 20156. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the end of any Weekly Period and received no later than seven (7) days thereafter to be eligible for that Weekly Period's drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per day, regardless of method of entry, for a maximum of seven (7) entries for any Weekly Period. Multiple registrations or game plays or entries received from any person or e-mail address in excess of the stated limit will be void. Registrations or game plays or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means, at Sponsor's discretion, will be void.
DRAWINGS: Two (2) potential winners for each Weekly Period (for a total of ten (10) winners) will be selected in random drawings on or about ten (10) days following the end of the applicable Weekly Period from among all eligible entries for the Weekly Period at issue. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Nonwinning eligible entries from one drawing will not carry forward into subsequent drawings. Potential winners will be notified by e-mail, telephone and/or U.S. mail and will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and where lawful a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within seven (7) business days of date of initial notification or potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner selected for the drawing at issue. Potential winners, at Sponsor's discretion, may also be required to provide proof of valid title and ownership of residence to Sponsor's satisfaction or prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner selected for the drawing at issue. If potential winner does not have exclusive and valid title to the residence, he or she will be required to obtain the written permission of the other owner(s) of the residence for the placement and installation of the appliances in the residence, and such other owners together with the potential winner, shall be required to fully release the Released Parties from any liability resulting from the placement, installment or use of the appliances. If the potential winner is unable to secure such written permission within the time period specified by Sponsor in a form acceptable to Sponsor, the prize will be deemed forfeited (and Sponsor shall have no further obligation to potential winner) and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner selected for the drawing at issue.
PRIZES (10) (two (2) per Weekly Period): Each winner will receive a suite of Electrolux appliances to be determined by Sponsor (a combination of appliances which may include but not be limited to an oven, refrigerator, cooktop, range, rangehood, wine cooler to be chosen by the winner) up to $13,000 in value (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Grand Prize: $13,000) Total ARV of all prizes: $130,000. All taxes, including but not limited to federal, state and local taxes, and any costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not expressly provided for herein, are the sole responsibility of the winners, including any costs of installation and removal of old appliances. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Limit one (1) registration per person and per email address for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Any entrant's failure or refusal to comply with these Official Rules will result in his or her entries being void, and entrant being subject to disqualification from sweepstakes. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, delayed, undelivered or garbled registrations, game plays or email or postage-due mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the game, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes or the game, the processing of registrations or game plays, the announcement of the prizes or in any game-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website or who are otherwise in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners for the drawing at issue from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received for such drawing prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Entrants, by participating, agree that neither the Sponsor, Weber Shandwick, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, or advertising and promotion agencies or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") will have any liability whatsoever for, and each of the Released Parties shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse, use or inability to use of a prize or participation in this sweepstakes. Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval. Winner agrees that that all contact with the media, if any, regarding the sweepstakes and the prize awarded shall be coordinated by Sponsor, and winner shall not discuss the sweepstakes or the prize with any media organization without the Sponsor's consent. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
